About Childbirth Educators
 The CCCE training program is designed to train and certify professionals to educate and support families preparing for pregnancy and during pregnancy, providing comprehensive, non-biased, evidence-based information, encouragement, and referrals as needed.
Certified Childbirth Educators can be found working as public health educators, hospital and community educators, in care providers’ offices, and in private practice throughout the world.

The CAPPAÂ Childbirth Educator is not a clinician and therefore does not:
- Diagnose medical conditions
- Interpret medical diagnoses or clinical results
- Prescribe or give dosages of herbal or over-the-counter medications
- Administer treatment of medical conditions
- Perform clinical procedures
